This morning a brand new version of Monopoly was released at Sudeley Castle, that features 30 of your favourite Cotswold destinations and tourist attractions, and Giffords Circus has its very own square!
The ‘Big Reveal’ of this brand new official Monopoly version based on The Cotswolds sees:
- A tractor replacing the racing car token from the classic Monopoly original – following a public vote amongst good humoured Cotswoldians.
- A sheep featuring instead of the Scottie Dog which gets the boot (along with the top hat and old boot). A campervan and hiking boots also feature as tokens.
- Broadway Tower landing on the top ranked square, ‘Mayfair ‘ from the game’s London original; Sudeley Castle takes the over the Park Lane square, the second highest ranking site.
Giffords Circus features on the pale blue ‘Euston Road’ from the original Monopoly. And the price to buy us… lock stock and barrel? Just 100 Monopoly pounds!
