Visiting Giffords Circus
Some information to help you prepare for and enjoy your visit to the circus.
Giffords Circus is a travelling circus that is taken down and rebuilt every couple of weeks. We always mark out ‘blue badge’ parking nearer to the tent, so anyone with limited mobility has as short a walk as possible. When reaching the car park attendant, do let them know you need to park nearer and they will point you in the right direction. Please also be aware that some of the grounds we visit may be rutted and undulating in places, so care may be needed if walking or in a wheelchair.
The seating in the tent is traditional tiered seating, up steps. We have level access if required for those with limited mobility or requiring wheelchair access, please ensure you book a wheelchair ticket. We can also arrange for access up only two shallow steps into the main seating area, please let the box office know when booking or call 01453 800200. We will reserve space for the person requiring access and one other person. The rest of the party will be in unreserved seating. When you reach the circus, get the attention of one of the front of house staff in the burgundy jackets and they will arrange an escort into the tent. There are accessible portaloo units at every ground.
You can ask our box office team any specific questions regarding access and make any arrangements by calling 01453 800200, you can also book tickets on this number.
