Flying Sauce takeaway café to open in Stroud next week

January 19th 2022

Giffords Circus takeaway café Flying Sauce is opening at the Circus’s Headquarters, Fennells Farm near Stroud next Tuesday, 25th January 2022 from 8am.

Opening next Tuesday, 25th January and running until 26th February, the Flying Sauce Cafe is run by Giffords Circus, Ols Halas and Tom Cross. Flying Sauce is housed in a circus vintage-style wagon and originally ‘popped-up’ in lockdown 2020 but makes a welcome return to serve breakfast from 8am and lunch from 12noon – 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

“We’re really excited to be re-launching Flying Sauce next week. We will be offering an ever-changing menu using ingredients from all our local suppliers in the Cotswolds. This is usually a quiet time of the year, so we are excited about being able to be creative and serve food we’ve been itching to try before we hit the road again for this year’s show.” Said Ols Halas, Executive Chef at Giffords Circus.

Flying Sauce will be serving breakfast from 8am – 11.30am and lunch from 12noon – 3pm from Tuesday – Saturday. The menu will change depending on what’s in season and from the freshest ingredients, such as, the best bacon that can be sourced, loaded hand cut wedges, braised short ribs and hotdogs smoked on site. There will also be vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.

“We’ll only be here for a short time!” continues Ols.

“So please come and see what we’re up to!”

Flying Sauce is open Weekdays from 8am – 3pm from Tuesday 25th January – until Saturday 26th February at Fennells Farm, just off the Bisley Old Road, Lypiatt, Stroud, GL6 7NE. For more information visit www.giffordscircus.com
