On Sunday 27th November, for one night only, Circus Sauce, Giffords Circus travelling restaurant, is hosting a meal at The Long Table in Stroud.
The talented chefs from Circus Sauce will serve a four-course banquet, inspired by seasonal ingredients, and kindly donated by local suppliers, to raise money and awareness for this great local organisation.
There will be live music from past members of the Giffords Circus band and rumour has it that Tweedy the Clown will be popping in to cause much mirth and mayhem!

What is The Long Table?
The Long Table (trading name of The Long Table Stroud CIC) is based at Brimscombe Mills in Stroud and aims to make locally sourced and lovingly prepared food available to everyone, regardless of their social or financial background. Something they call Food Equality.
The Long Table puts food at the centre of the community. Making sure that everyone has access to great food and people to eat it with, that’s the basics. The Mill bustles with people, all sitting together to enjoy hot lunches and delicious coffee and cake, from mums with babies to people meeting for lunch. The innovative ‘Pay As You Can’ approach to lunch means people can pay for their own lunch and ‘Pay It Forward’ by donating towards a lunch for someone who needs it.
The Long Table’s work at Brimscombe Mills is creating a dining and community space where everyone is invited to cook, learn, and eat. People with barriers to employment can gain meaningful work, learn invaluable skills, and locally grown food can be celebrated.
