On Tuesday, 20th December at 8pm, Giffords Circus makes its debut at The Royal Variety Performance on ITV and here’s a sneak preview of the show just for you.
The show was filmed in front of a live audience at the Royal Albert Hall on the 1st December 2022 and the act that you will see is our breath taking hair hang act from Carpa! performed by sisters Isabella and Daniela Munoz Landestoy. We were of course supported by director Cal McCrystal, production designer takis, musical director James Keay and choreographer Kate Smyth.
Tweedy although busy in pantomime zoomed up the M4 to lend his support and cheer the girls on from the audience. Mat from our tech team had the nail biting task of manning the winch on the night and you get a sneak peak of one of our new 2023 acts, the amazing aerialist and dancer Antony Cesar, who performs on stage with the girls.
Finally, we want to give a huge thank you to the amazing vocals of Kate Dimbleby, who went to school with Nell, and gave up her time to come and sing Both Sides Now a song that has featured in two Giffords Circus shows and one that we felt was a perfect choice for the act. She sang live and her beautiful tones filled the Royal Albert Hall.
After the show Isabella and Daniela met the Earl and Countess of Wessex and Forfar. We can’t wait to gather around the TV next week and watch!
